Drug enforcement officers in Kano State caught 23 people selling illegal drugs during raids across the city. The NDLEA targeted five neighborhoods known for heavy drug dealing and abuse problems. Officers found codeine, pregabalin, and cannabis during their searches of these crime hotspots.
The agency picked Badawa, Kofar Mata, Tashar Kasuwar Rimi, Gwangwazo, and Kantin Kwari areas for the operation. These places had become centers where dealers sold dangerous substances to local residents.
