The root of inequality lies in the tax system, not in capitalism.

We don't have to overthrow capitalism, all we need to do is reform our tax system.

How many times does capitalism have to implode? How many times do you want to make excuses for its instability? How many times do you want to put a band-aid on the big tumor before it eats society alive? Capitalism will always need to exploit natural resources and human labor to capitalize.

Isn't socialism the idea that literally everyone owns properties and they are mainly for pro-governmental control? What I mean it socialism is the idea of equal rights in pay for literally everyone. It might be good on paper but it is really fair that someone should be paid equally compare to someone who refused to work.

Yes, of course, capitalism breeds inequality. People differ in their talents, interests, abilities, productivity, and life goals. Why would you expect or want equal incomes?

It works just fine for wealthy elite people on top of the pyramid.

It works for anyone who creates value for others. Yes, there are some who scam and pretend to offer value in exchange for money. But the essence of it is this, you create something I value, I create something you value and we decide to trade it with each other. Or we don't. Create lots of value for lots of other people and you'll get lots of value in return. Don't create value for others and they have no reason to give you any of theirs.

At the end of the day, even capitalism can be abused to the point where those who are less privileged are exploited from generation to generation. It's not that I am against the idea of capitalism it's just that morals and ethics are sometimes thrown away for the sake of profit maximization. Of course, socialism has it's own issues too.

Our biggest problem is waste. We waste everything: clothing, food, water, and energy you name it—we waste it. If it doesn't fit or if it's broken, we just throw it away. Waste is by far our biggest issue

I agree with that but the base problem is overpopulation way too many consumers on the planet and the big-money companies just get wealthier because the products they produce like you say get thrown away. There are just too many people on the planet.

Overpopulation is an eco-fascist argument. We have more than enough land and resources to support an even larger human population. The problem is not the number of people, the problem is corporations creating artificial scarcity and destroying our environment in the process because it saves them money compared to using renewable/green energy methods. Overpopulation has never been a problem. Capitalism and privatization are the roots of nearly every moment of suffering on this planet right now.

Here is what I think about capitalism: greed is a necessary component of capitalism. A business owner must be greedy in order for his enterprise to survive. If not, you lose to a competitor. Reduced growth is stagnation. Greedy people are inevitably chosen for success in capitalism.
