The definition of "polony" in the context of Zim slang means 'polonium-210.'

Therefore again in the context of slang (i.e. the informal usage), this should not be confused with the normal 'bologna sausage' or what some may call 'baloney.'

Perhaps you have already noticed the double entendre... haven't you?

Anyway, if you come across people using this word in matters that don't relate so much to bologna sausage then you sure know what they are talking about.

Note: polony is alternatively used in Zim slang as a generic umbrella term when referring to other deadly food poisons instead of its primary meaning which is polonium.
