vale

means Eaglesvale High School which is located at 147 Gleneagles Road, Willowvale, Harare. The school is co-educational and has boarding facilities for both girls and boys.

Uniform — girls wear green blazers and green skirts while boys wear green blazers and grey trousers with brown shoes. But during summer, boys wear green blazers and khakis while girls wear white blouses and green skirts except for assembly days (Mondays and Fridays).

Note: Sometimes Vale is pronounced as "vhaaa-lay" instead of the usual way — it depends on the person.

Example usage:
  • Person 1 -- "Which skwale did you oans shuck to?"
  • Person 2 -- "We were at Vale bro."
  • Person 1 -- "Oh, I see y'all some Vale oans."
  • Person 2 -- "Fo sho."
