Another person lost their life to dengue fever during the past day across Bangladesh. Hospitals took in 329 more patients who caught the mosquito disease. Health officials counted these new cases from yesterday morning until today. The sickness continues spreading through different parts of the country. Medical centers work hard to treat everyone who needs help. Barishal area saw the most new patients with 136 people going to hospitals. Chattogram region had 64 patients seek medical care for dengue symptoms. Regular Dhaka division recorded 38 fresh cases of the illness. North Dhaka city area brought 21 patients to treatment centers. South Dhaka city section added 43 more cases to the count. Khulna division reported 15 people needing hospital care for dengue. Mymensingh area had just two patients admitted for treatment. Rajshahi division saw 10 people go to medical facilities. The health department shared these numbers through their official statement. Each region faces different levels of dengue spread. Bangladesh has recorded 7,758 total dengue cases since January started. The disease has killed 32 people during these past months. Medical experts track these numbers to understand how dengue moves through communities. The current outbreak seems smaller than previous years. Last year brought much worse results for the country. The 2024 dengue season infected 101,214 people across Bangladesh. That outbreak killed 575 individuals before ending. This year shows far fewer cases and deaths compared to those terrible numbers. Health workers hope the trend continues improving for everyone.
