Acer showed off new Predator BiFrost and Nitro Radeon RX 9070 Series graphics cards about two weeks ago. They came late to AMD's RDNA 4 party but made waves with four high-end models. The Predator BiFrost Radeon RX 9070 OC 16 GB and Nitro Radeon RX 9070 XT OC 16 GB stand out because they reach super fast 3100 MHz boost speeds. Acer kept quiet about prices back when they first appeared. Overclockers UK recently started taking pre-orders for all four cards. This same store made news by building a huge cube out of many Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT boxes right before launch day. They seemed ready, with plenty of different models from various companies, but customers bought them faster than expected on release day. The British store has raised prices on these Radeon cards since then. Looking at similar top-tier cards, Overclockers UK bumped prices up £20 to £30 across the board. ASRock's Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi OC started at £700 but jumped to £728.99 last month. Pre-order costs for the basic Nitro Radeon RX 9070 XT OC hit £749.99, and the fancy Predator BiFrost costs £779.99 to reserve. Only GIGABYTE's AORUS RX 9070 XT ELITE sits higher at almost £800. Based on specs like aluminum backplates and advanced cooling systems, Acer's two leading cards look impressive. However, you can find similar features from competitors at better prices. W1zzard, who reviews graphics cards for TechPowerUp, hasn't received any test samples from Acer yet. Maybe that will change soon as these new cards enter the market and users want honest reviews before spending their money.
