The week ends with a festival at LOVE Park on Sunday, June 29. Music, marketplace vendors, and food competitions will fill the space. Different restaurants will compete to see who makes the best jollof rice. Each African country has their version of this popular dish, and friendly rivalries exist between nations. Restaurant owners hope the week brings new customers to try authentic African meals.
