The trees also clean dirty water and make it safe for sea animals.

Scientists praised Africell for planting mangroves because rising seas threaten coastal areas. Fish need healthy mangrove forests to breed and feed their young. People from Sanyang community and government workers joined the tree planting ceremony. Africell started planting trees across the country since January 2025. The company works on education and health projects through their foundation program.
