Alcaraz grew up practicing on clay courts back home but has become deadly on grass surfaces. He first won Queen's Club two years ago and captured Wimbledon shortly after that breakthrough. The young champion defended his Wimbledon crown last year and aims for a third straight title there. Lehecka was playing his first grass court final but could not match the relentless power of his Spanish rival. Alcaraz will start his Wimbledon defense on June 30th.
