Bandai Namco surprised fans during its Little Nightmares Showcase with multiple new projects. The company revealed that Little Nightmares III will launch October 10, 2025 across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC platforms. Supermassive Games showed 10 minutes of gameplay from a carnival level. The third game will also appear on Nintendo Switch 2. Fans expected only news about the upcoming sequel. The showcase revealed a remastered version of the original Little Nightmares game. Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition features 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on newer consoles. The remaster adds improved graphics, ray-traced reflections and faster loading times. Players can access the enhanced version immediately when they pre-order Little Nightmares III. The standalone remaster costs $39.99 and releases October 10. Bandai Namco announced a virtual reality game called Little Nightmares VR Altered Echoes. The company showed only a brief teaser trailer for the VR project. Three additional projects expand the franchise beyond games. These projects include an audio podcast, a comic book series and a novel. The showcase featured a mysterious sixth project that resembled stop-motion animation. The brief teaser appeared during the presentation without explanation. Bandai Namco has not provided details about this potential film or television adaptation. Fan reactions remain mixed regarding the enhanced edition pricing strategy. The previous Little Nightmares II remaster was free for existing owners.
