Bashundhara Shuvosangho donated cash to a struggling widow living in Bhangura upazila of Pabna district. The organization handed Ratna Khatun 5,000 taka during a Thursday ceremony. Bhangura Press Club General Secretary Moniruzzaman Faruk joined Shuvosangho members for the donation event. The money will help the woman support her family during difficult times. Officials praised the group's community service efforts. Ratna Khatun lost her husband Lokman Hossain during a workplace accident six years ago. Lokman worked as a daily wage laborer and died traveling to his job in Narayanganj during January 2019. The widow lives in Khanmarich union and struggles to feed her two young daughters. Family members from both sides cannot provide financial support. She earns money cleaning houses for other families. Kaler Kantho Correspondent Masud Rana attended the donation ceremony alongside several Shuvosangho leaders. Unit General Secretary Shakib Khan participated in the cash presentation. Vice President Khalilur Rahman Bachchu and Social Welfare Secretary Mehedi Hasan also came to the event. Faruk expressed hope that the organization would continue helping community members. He wished success for future social welfare projects. The widow faces daily challenges providing food and shelter for her children. Her daughters depend completely on their mother's domestic work income. The 5,000 taka donation offers temporary relief from financial pressures. Bashundhara Shuvosangho continues supporting disadvantaged families across different districts. Community leaders encourage similar charitable activities throughout the region.
