DCOI Basintale was born in Bawku in the Upper East Region on April 17, 1972. He started working for the Ghana Immigration Service on September 1, 1993. During his 30-year career, he has supervised border security operations, implemented modern immigration policies, and strengthened international cooperation on migration issues. The BDA thanked President Mahama for noticing the talents within the Bissa community. They said, "The Bissa Development Association is deeply grateful to President John Mahama for recognizing the talents and abilities within our community.
