Beelink launched the EQR5 mini PC with an older Ryzen 5 5500U chip. Barebone units start around $206 in China, while fully loaded configs hit $452. This Zen 2 processor handles office tasks and media playback just fine.

You get two DDR4 slots supporting up to 64 GB of RAM. Dual M.2 PCIe 3.0 drives can hold 8 TB total. Gen3 speeds work for productivity but limit modern SSD potential. Upgradability beats soldered memory found in rival compact systems.

An internal 85W power supply removes external brick clutter. MSC 2.0 cooling uses a fan and heatpipe to keep noise under 32 dBA. Storage gets its own heatsink to prevent thermal throttling during heavy use.

Networking relies on dual Gigabit Ethernet ports instead of faster 2.5GbE links. Intel AX200 provides Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The front panel offers 10Gbps USB-A and USB-C ports for fast transfers.

Two HDMI outputs support 4K at 60Hz each. The rear panel adds more USB ports and the AC inlet. This box suits home labs or firewall duties rather than high-end gaming. Check newer Ryzen models if you need better graphics performance.
