Bersatu says it never told its Perlis reps to sign anything against the MB. The crisis started when five Bersatu and three PAS lawmakers pulled support for Mohd Shukri. PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang defended the former MB, saying he was victimized for refusing pressure about projects and integrity issues. PAS suspended its three involved members. The state assembly speaker then declared those three seats suddenly empty. Muhyiddin finished by saying PN trusts each component party to handle issues wisely to keep their Perlis administration stable.
