The police are still working to learn more about what happened. This sad story shows how bad fighting at home can be. Many women in Uganda face this kind of danger. A study from 2021 says almost all women in Uganda have been hurt by someone.

The person who helps with women's problems in Uganda said at least 168 people died from this kind of fighting in one year. This is a big problem that needs to stop.
