The police in The Gambia caught a special car on Sunday evening. It was a BMW that bad people used to rob a shop in Banjul. The robbers took more than a million dalasis from the shop.
The police found the car's owner near Bund Road. Officer Modou Musa Sisawo said they are asking the owner many questions to help them solve the crime.
Earlier that day, two people came to El Hella Shop in a gray BMW. The car didn't have any number plates. One person wore a mask on their face, but the other person didn't. The shop's cameras showed these people going inside with a gun. They scared everyone in the shop and took D1,245,000.00 and CFA1,650,000. Then they drove away fast in their BMW.
