A press release from the railways confirmed these plans came together after formal requests from the party's central and regional offices.

Officials expect to pull in about thirty-six lakh taka from running these special trains and extra coaches.  They also stated that everyone traveling under this arrangement has to follow the rules in the current Electoral Code of Conduct.  The whole operation is meant to handle a big surge in passenger demand from the political event.
