The director of public prosecution cross-examined Ousainou Bojang Thursday at the High Court. Justice Ebrima Jaiteh watched as Bojang answered questions about allegedly killing two PIU officers. Bojang told everyone he worked as a security guard at Smiling Coast Lodge during his September 2023 arrest. He mentioned problems with Claudette Francis, a white woman who threatened to share his naked pictures online. Bojang explained he learned about these threats from someone named Ousman Colley. He admitted he chatted with Claudette through video calls where they both appeared naked. Bojang believed she recorded him during these sessions. He reported everything to police officers at Senegambia station, specifically mentioning CID members Ousman Manneh and Yerro Saidy. Someone at Brusubi Police Station named Seedy Sonko warned him to avoid busy places. The court heard Bojang talked to his sister Amie Bojang about those naked pictures on September 11, 2023. Amie stands as his co-accused. Bojang described meeting Sharon at Coco Ocean to discuss his girlfriend's threats. He returned to work around 7 pm, relieving his colleague Nfamara Badjie. Bojang claimed he felt more worried about his girlfriend's situation than about news of shot police officers. The prosecution suggested Bojang warned a lodge guest named Sulayman to be careful when going out that night. Officials gave Bojang his smartphone during court proceedings. He checked apps and said several were missing compared to before. Bojang confirmed using two phone lines—mainly Africell—for calls. He admitted calling his sister on September 13 but denied any WhatsApp conversations that day. The cross-examination continues today with more questions from prosecutors.
