The Bank of Namibia gave school money to ten students on Thursday. The students will use it for different learning areas.

Bank leader Johannes !Gawaxab said they want to help good students reach their best level. "For more than twenty years, we have helped bright students learn, no matter where they came from. We keep this promise today. Learning helps both the person and our nation," he said.

Mella Dausas will study money matters at the University of Namibia. She is happy about the bank's help: "The Bank of Namibia will pay for my school costs. I can focus on learning," Dausas said.

Another student, Nandotjitioua Ndjavera, plans to study math at the Namibia University of Science and Technology and become a teacher with high learning marks. "This money makes me very happy. I want to teach math after I finish my studies," Ndjavera said.

The bank gives this help to students who show great work in their studies. They pick students who want to learn about money matters, numbers, and how things work.
