What would be a great purchase between either Brainworx bx_masterdesk vs Waves Grand Masters Collection?

Since these plugins are mainly for mastering (or perhaps for a lack of better words "stereo/master/mix buss processing" as people now call it these days) I am beyond befuddled why on earth does Brainworx bx_masterdesk cost more than something like iZotope's Ozone Standard (i.e. $250 USD)?

Is there something I am missing? Oh, don't even bother, I have found the reason why... you and I can bet right now it must be that Tolerance Modeling Technology (TMT), isn't it. What else could justify that price, you tell me?

Hell, Brainworx bx_masterdesk plug-in it even costs more than FabFilter's Pro-L2, I mean... umm, well... a fool and his money... y'all know the rest.

Anyway folks, so here is the thing m'kay... assuming someone has a...

Ah, yes good ole' Waves Audio. They are so gracious, aren't they? Perhaps so. Now, just a moment, let me see... Once you get into their ecosystem they never hesitate to start blasting your pockets with that WUP.

Anyway folks, so here is the thing m'kay... assuming someone has a budget of $300 (USD), in my opinion, they have two options, id est option A is to throw that money literary on iZotope's Ozone Standard, option B they'd buy FabFilter's Pro-L2 and Voxengo PrimeEQ.

Both FabFilter's Pro-L2 and iZotope's Ozone Maximizer sound superior to Waves Audio's L2 and L3 Ultramaximizers, and this is pretty much obvious. Therefore, that Grand Masters Collection has got to go, sorry not sorry.

The reason I recommend Voxengo PrimeEQ is that it's one of the most affordable EQ plug-ins that at least have anti-cramping properly implemented. The equalizer is undoubtedly better than those in most DAWs anyway and boy is it clean, oh my.

@Borrowdale Barron, it seems that you think Brainworx's bx_masterdesk is supposed to be used by serious professional audio mastering engineers. I'd suggest you consider it as something like IK Multimedia's Lurssen Mastering Console—you will gain a reasonable understanding of the crowd who will regularly use it after have done what I said.

By the way, Brainworx now has a new maximizer i.e., bx_limiter TP (True Peak), you should check it out.

Still, Brainworx bx_limiter TP (True Peak) costs $300 (USD). Lawd have mercy, abeg. The context here is if someone has to spend $300 (USD), what better options do they have when considering all audio mastering plug-ins currently available on the market. You get it, huh?
