Police spokesperson SSP Onyango said they had been looking for this suspect for some time. Matwa already had previous charges for breaking into homes and stealing in the Lower Kazinga area.

Matwa lives in the Kazinga Zone of Kiwatule Parish. He currently stays at Kiwatule Police Station, waiting for his court appearance. Police continue investigating to find out if he committed more crimes they should know about. The arrest happened one day after the robbery that took place on April 15.
