Brighton played amazingly against Chelsea last week. They won two big games! First, they beat Chelsea in a special cup game. Then, on Friday, they won an even bigger game in the main league. The match started with something wonderful. Brighton's goalkeeper Bart kicked the ball very far up the field. Kaoru Mitoma, who plays for Brighton, caught the ball perfectly. He ran past the last Chelsea player and scored a brilliant goal! Mitoma made more magic happen later in the game. He moved through many Chelsea players and took a shot. The ball bounced around, and his teammate Yankuba Minteh scored Brighton's second goal. Minteh wasn't finished there! He played a clever game of pass and score with Danny Welbeck later on. He shot the ball into the goal from a tricky spot, making it three goals for Brighton. Chelsea didn't play well. They had the ball most of the time but never managed to shoot at Brighton's goal. Their manager, Enzo Maresca, said it was their worst game since he became the boss. Brighton needed this win badly. They hadn't won a home game since November and had lost a really big game against Nottingham Forest earlier in February. Danny Welbeck said the team had important talks after that loss. They worked hard to improve, and it showed in their great win against Chelsea. The win helped Brighton move up to eighth place in the league. Chelsea stayed in fourth place, but they're falling behind Nottingham Forest, who have played fewer games than them.
