Brighton needed this win badly. They hadn't won a home game since November and had lost a really big game against Nottingham Forest earlier in February. Danny Welbeck said the team had important talks after that loss. They worked hard to improve, and it showed in their great win against Chelsea.

The win helped Brighton move up to eighth place in the league. Chelsea stayed in fourth place, but they're falling behind Nottingham Forest, who have played fewer games than them.
