BUK Expels 62 Students, Suspends 17 Over Exam Misconduct

Bayero University Kano threw out sixty-two students who cheated during tests. The school also banned seventeen more students for a limited time because they broke test rules. The leaders at this school take honest testing very seriously. These decisions happened when the big bosses met to talk about student problems.

The school held a meeting on February 26, 2025, to review each student's case. They follow strict rules called GEAR that tell everyone to play fair on tests. Five students proved they did nothing wrong and kept their spots at school. Twenty-nine others received warnings to behave better, and three cases stayed open for more checking.
