Chakwera and Usi join Way of the Cross walk

President Lazarus Chakwera walks with Christians praying about Jesus Christ's death. Many churches planned these special prayers in Lilongwe city. This event happens during Holy Week when believers think about how Jesus suffered. Vice President Michael Usi joined the president for this important day. They led many people walking behind them in the procession.

Everyone follows the Way of the Cross, remembering Jesus' final journey. The group moves slowly toward the Parliament Building with respect. People pray quietly or sing songs about Jesus as they walk together. Both children and adults carry crosses, Bibles, and songbooks during this time. Church leaders walk alongside regular citizens, showing community spirit.

The president and vice president choose to walk at the front, showing they value Christian traditions. Their actions prove Malawi's leaders care about faith matters just like everyday work. The peaceful march reminds everyone about love and forgiveness. Children learn that prayer matters to their country's leaders. This religious event brings people together, hoping for a better Malawi through faith.
