After you search for users or see everyone, you can click any user name. This opens a screen where you see all their information. The page shows many parts like details, extra stuff, computer addresses, changes, and what they can do. When you change an administrator account, the system asks for your password first. This keeps important accounts safe. The details part lets you check and change things like names, email addresses, and pictures. You cannot see passwords but can make new ones for users. If someone has two-step checking turned on and has locked themselves out, you can turn it off for them. You see which groups users belong to. Every user needs one main group but can join many other groups. We say keep the main group as Registered. The staff button puts users on staff lists but does not give them special powers. That happens through moderator and administrator systems. User state usually shows if people finished email checking when they signed up. Valid means they did everything right. All other states make users act like visitors instead of members. The lock buttons protect accounts when you think someone else uses them without permission. The discouraged button puts limits on users who break the rules. Personal details show where users live and their websites. The About part lets them write things about themselves. Profile info includes special titles instead of normal group titles. Signatures add text at the end of messages. You can change how many messages, points, and reactions users have. Additional contact shows special fields you made for things like other websites. Preferences control how the forum looks and works for users. Privacy controls what other people see about them. You should not change these settings unless users say yes. The extra part shows paid upgrades and connected accounts. Other programs might put information there. IP addresses tell you which computer addresses users came from. You can check if other users share the same address. This helps find people with multiple accounts. You can ban or discourage any address you see. The change log shows what changed for this user. Permissions let you make special rules just for one user. Most times, you use groups for permissions, but sometimes one person needs special rules. User permissions work like group permissions. Yes beats no from anywhere. Never beats Yes from anywhere and blocks that permission completely.
