The system also simplifies life with device control features similar to HDMI-CEC. This lets you run multiple gadgets from a single remote control, making everything simpler to set up and use. The USB Association has already approved the Type-C version. Looking ahead, we'll probably see GPMI first on Chinese television sets before spreading elsewhere.
