Christina Applegate says her MS diagnosis was wrong, but she has no plans to leave the community she grew close to. The Emmy-winning actress made that clear on her MeSsy podcast, where she spoke about her health and her bond with people affected by multiple sclerosis. Her return to the show came after she shared the change in her diagnosis. Despite the medical update, Applegate made it clear that her support for MS patients had not changed. She has built real friendships with listeners and others dealing with the condition. Jamie-Lynn Sigler, her podcast partner who lives with MS, got a heartfelt message as well. Applegate pledged to keep speaking up for patients and standing beside them, regardless of her personal diagnosis. She still sees herself as part of that circle. But there is a tough side to the update. Applegate continues to deal with severe physical symptoms, and losing the MS diagnosis has not brought any relief. Her struggle with basic movement remains a major part of daily life. During the episode, she described needing ten minutes just to rise from bed. Even reaching the bathroom had become a challenge, and she has placed a walker beside her bed for support. That change has left her confused about what is happening to her body. Tasks she could handle before, such as sitting upright, have become much harder. The lack of clear answers adds another layer of stress to an already difficult situation. For many people, being told they do not have MS might bring relief. Applegate had a different reaction. Her doctor had given her that news, yet the actress still faced the same symptoms without a clear explanation for them. In some ways, she believes her condition has grown worse. A revised diagnosis does not erase the pain or mobility problems she faces, and she remains uncertain about what comes next. Her message to the MS community remains unchanged. Whatever doctors eventually determine about her health, Applegate intends to keep using her voice to support the people she has come to care about.
