Muzavazi called Harare City offices to ask questions. She also tried calling Sigauke many times, but he kept avoiding her calls. She then told the police what happened. Their search showed Sigauke had papers for the land from April 2019 but never actually paid for it himself.

The total amount Muzavazi lost is $120,000. She hasn't received any money back yet.
