Government lawyers claim Besigye asked for weapons and received 5000 dollars for training programs. Police arrested 36 Ugandans before they could complete military training at Kisumu. Besigye and Lutale were captured at Kenya during November 2024. Oola joined their group during October 2023 and sent supportive messages through WhatsApp. All three men face serious charges for failing to report treasonous activities.
