Cross River assembly sent lawmakers to training sessions across Lagos and Abuja this year. Staff members received special training to improve their job skills at home. Two workers learned about electronic government programs from Korean instructors at University of Calabar. The assembly passed 39 new laws with nine more under review. Governor Bassey Otu signed most bills into law already.
