Obogo worked as Nsa's deputy and knows the media office operations well from his previous experience. He used to work for ThisDay newspaper before joining government service. Governor Ben Ayade's administration employed Obogo as Deputy Chief Press Secretary before the current appointment. Professor Anthony Owan-Enoh signed the official letter announcing both men's new positions. The state government secretary handles all formal appointment announcements for the governor's office.
