Dangote supplies most plane fuel to Nigeria's air firms. It provides two-thirds of Nigeria's needs and half of what West Africa uses. This reduces the amount Nigeria must buy from other lands. The amount fell from 13,000 drops each day in 2023 to 5,000 drops in 2024.

British oil firm BP bought its first load of plane fuel from Dangote. The ship Doric Breeze took about 45,000 large boxes of fuel. People who know say this was BP's first time buying from Dangote.

This trade shows how Dangote grows strong in world oil sales. It helps Nigeria make more things at home and needs less from other lands.
