Police arrested Huda from his home in Uttara on June 22. A crowd had surrounded and detained the former commissioner around 7 p.m. that evening. Officers took him into custody later that same day. The court records show police formally arrested him in connection with the election manipulation case. Huda lived in sector 5 of Uttara before his arrest.
