Dive Into Immersive Surround Reverb With Equinox

iZotope released Equinox, a new surround reverb plugin that combines engines from Exponential Audio's Stratus with Symphony. This tool helps users create deep, clear reverb effects for music production and sound post-work. The plugin supports popular surround formats like Atmos for movies and TV shows. It features special unmasking technology that keeps dialogue instruments clear without muddy sound. Users can access more than 1250 professional presets through an improved browser system.

The natural reverb engine works well for placing dialogue effects into realistic spaces. The character engine lets sound designers create experimental, creative sounds. Multi-channel support includes easy balance controls for placing reverb across different speakers. Quick preset searching helps find starting points fast with multiple tag keywords. Advanced controls allow fine adjustments to each section's broader tone changes.

Music producers can add realistic reverb to vocal instruments with natural settings. Creative options include Reverb Freeze for endless drones and Chorus Gate effects. The plugin costs $149.40 during its introduction period before returning to its regular price of $249. Crossgrades exist for current iZotope product owners. Equinox comes in several bundles, like the Music Production Suite and the Post Production Suite.
