DPP Trains Election Warriors to Conquer Liwonde

The Democratic Progressive Party trains aspiring candidates for September 2025 elections across Malawi. Party leaders held a major session Saturday at Liwonde for Eastern Region hopefuls. Parliamentary and local government candidates attended the training event. Officials taught campaign strategies and party principles to prepare politicians for voter outreach. The party wants well-prepared representatives who understand their mission and values.

Shadric Namalomba addressed candidates about discipline and unity during the closing session. He stressed that success depends on connecting with community struggles and real problems. Candidates must listen to voters and provide tangible solutions rather than empty promises. Namalomba warned against internal fighting that could damage election chances. The party spokesperson called for issue-based politics focused on unemployment, poverty, and corruption.

DPP organizes regional training sessions nationwide to strengthen candidate preparation. Party officials hope these efforts position them as organized opposition ahead of September polls. Observers believe the training shows serious comeback intentions after previous electoral losses. Campaign effectiveness will face testing during the actual election period. The party seeks to rebuild trust and restore democratic governance through disciplined leadership.
