Dr Kebba Daffeh Elected GVMA President at Annual Meeting

The Gambia Vets picked Dr. Kebba Daffeh as their new boss at their yearly meeting last Saturday. All members agreed he should lead. Dr. Daffeh worked as head of Vet Services before. He spent many years improving animal care in the country. His hard work helped him earn the trust of other vets.

The group also chose other leaders at the same meeting. Dr. Ousman Ceesay became the note-taker. Dr. Abdou Ceesay will speak for the group. Dr. Mustapha Sheriff Manneh joined the team as well. Many animal doctors from across the country came to the meeting. They needed new leaders because the old team finished their time.

After being picked, Dr. Daffeh thanked everyone. He felt happy they all wanted him as leader. He knows the job will be hard but feels ready to do it if everyone helps. He thanked the past leader, Dr. Badara Loum. He also thanked all the people who worked on the old team for helping animal doctors over the past few years.
