Countries in East Africa will grow very fast in the next few years. A big bank in Africa said these countries will make more money than other places in Africa. They think East Africa will grow by 5.3 percent next year and 6.1 percent the year after. A smart person named Kevin Urama works at this bank. He said African countries are doing well even though they face many problems. Many countries have made new rules to help people buy food and other things they need. These rules will help make prices lower and help countries handle their money better. Many countries in East Africa will do very well. South Sudan will grow the most because it can sell more oil through big pipes that go to the sea. Uganda will grow because it wants to make and sell more oil. Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Kenya will do better because people want to build new places to make power and dig for special things in the ground. One country called Sudan has big problems. Its war makes everything hard, and things cost a lot more there than before. Other countries in East Africa also have problems with money costing more than before, but it's not as bad as Sudan. The bank said countries need to save more money to help when bad things happen. They want countries to make special things from the stuff they dig from the ground. This would help them make more money. They also want African countries to work together and sell more things to each other. A man named Albert Muchanga thinks people who own businesses should help make this happen. He wants them to build places to store things all over Africa and make their own ships to move things between countries. He believes Africa has many good things that can help make everyone's life better.
