Economic adviser blasts church storm as ungodly

Moses Kuria blasted the bad guys who broke into the church during Rigathi Gachagua's visit. Kuria wrote on X that such actions go against God. He asked people to keep ugly politics away from holy places. He compared this attack to what happened at AIPCA Kenol before. Kuria told Gachagua he felt sorry about what happened.

The trouble started right when the former deputy president walked into Sunday church. Mean people tried to push their way inside where everyone was praying. Church members stood together to block these rude visitors. Guards jumped around Gachagua fast to keep him safe from harm. The attacking group yelled loud as they tried to force their way past the door.

During all this chaos, people heard gunfire near the church. The bishop asked everyone to stay peaceful despite the scary situation. Police came quickly and chased away the troublemakers. After the fight ended, the church went back to normal with no more problems. Security teams made sure everyone stayed safe for the rest of the service.

Gachagua spoke up after things calmed down. He said he did not know why anyone would send thugs to attack a church meeting. He seemed confused about why such things still happen these days. The former leader did not want to say much more right then. He reminded everyone he has a TV talk planned for tomorrow where he plans to share his thoughts.

The attack shocked many people because it happened in a sacred building. Churches usually stay free from Kenya's heated politics. Most people believe worship spaces should remain safe for prayer. The former deputy president had visited several public places lately without any problems. This church attack marks a step backward for respect between different political sides.
