The eighth body, an adult male, sits at Sally Mugabe's mortuary, waiting for doctors to examine it. Medical teams at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals currently care for eleven more people injured during the same crash. Their conditions remain unreported by authorities.

Zimbabwe Republic Police asked all drivers to stay cautious on roads everywhere. They stressed following traffic rules saves lives. Police assured everyone they would continue investigating what caused this deadly highway collision.
