EPRA does tests to make sure stations don't sell watered-down gas. They also check that gas meant for other countries isn't sold here.

Over 99% of stations passed the tests, but 11 failed. Six were shut down, four had to pay fines, and one case is still in court.

EPRA did almost 6,000 tests from October to December 2024. They are in charge of stopping fuel tampering.

Two places sold fuel that broke the rules. Issues included:

People can call a hotline to report stations they think are selling bad gas. There's also a text code.

EPRA closed 14 more stations for the same thing earlier in 2024, and three others were fined. Those tests took place from July to September.

EPRA checks fuel on an ongoing basis. They want to keep gas pure and safe for cars and trucks in the country.
