Noisy 2.6 blows its resonance engine wide open, stretching from two sound sources to a full five-way setup spanning analog, acoustic, FM, harmonic, and wavetable. The whole thing runs on what Expressive E calls a noise-through-resonance approach, where source material gets excited by noise and shaped through resonators rather than pumped straight from oscillators. Existing Noisy 2 owners grab this one free. Four fresh engines and resonators join the party: Unison, FM, FM Feedback, Harmonics, and Wave Map, sitting beside the original Analog and Acoustic pair. FM sweeps from gentle harmonic drift into dense animated textures, while Harmonics builds additive structures for evolving timbres, and Wave Map tackles spectral morphing. The update piles on nine effects, five noise sources, and a fresh LFO shape. A 1,400-sound preset library ships alongside, split into 650 built for MPE and 750 for standard MIDI, covering acoustic emulations, leads, pads, cinematic beds, and electronic voices. Expression threads through everything rather than bolting on. Every preset packs mappings reacting to performance input live, whether from an MPE rig, Expressive E's Osmose and Touché hardware, or a regular keyboard. MPE controllers unlock per-note grip over pitch, pressure, and timbre, while traditional keys route those same dimensions through velocity, aftertouch, modulation, and automation. Analog now folds in that Unison resonator for thicker movement, and Acoustic pulls from real materials and percussive sources. Available immediately as a free bump for current users, newcomers can snag it at 89 euros or dollars, 40% off before it climbs back to 149.
