Baldeh sent multiple payments totaling D30,050 to Jarju through WAVE. When Jarju failed to deliver the promised money, he went to Police Headquarters. Officer Malang Jarju helped trace the payments, leading to the arrest of the accused in Jarra Soma.

Bakary Jarju denies both charges of impersonating a public officer and obtaining money through pretense. The court remanded him in custody as the trial continues at Brusubi Court under Magistrate K Baldeh.
