Keep the version that solves the interaction without softening the transient or creating an unnecessary delay burden elsewhere. Plugin latency deserves the same suspicion when a problem appears only after adding effects. FL Studio normally compensates for reported plugin delay automatically, but a plugin that reports latency incorrectly can still leave tracks offset.
