FRSC deploys 526 personnel for Easter safety in Zamfara

Road safety teams spread out across Zamfara for Easter weekend travel. The FRSC sent 526 workers and 13 vehicles, including two ambulances, to help travelers. Sector Commander Tijjani Illiyasu promised smooth holiday travels through careful monitoring during the celebrations. The agency works alongside other security groups, sharing information about possible threats to their operations. Safety officials also talk with bus companies about careful driving practices.

Staff members patrol major highways looking for dangerous behaviors that cause crashes. They want everyone to reach their destinations safely this holiday season. Many travelers visit family or attend religious services during the Easter break. Extra patrols focus on areas with heavy traffic or previous accident problems. The command spokesperson, Isah Aliyu, released these details to reporters in Gusau.

These efforts aim to reduce road deaths that typically increase during holiday periods. Officers check vehicle conditions for problems that might cause breakdowns. They make sure drivers follow speed limits even when roads seem empty. Teams respond quickly to any accidents reported through emergency numbers. The safety campaign continues until all holiday travelers return home.
