Gachagua Security Fires Shots to Disperse Church Disruptors

Security guards for former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua fired shots into the air on Sunday morning. They were trying to stop a group of people from interrupting a church service at PCEA Kasarani East Parish.

Video footage showed officers shooting to keep away people who tried to push past the church gate. Gachagua had not arrived at the church when the trouble started. Several cars suffered broken windshields during the incident.

After Gachagua arrived, Murang'a Senator Joe Nyutu spoke out against the event. He blamed President William Ruto and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja for causing the chaos. Nyutu warned them about facing consequences for their actions.

He spoke strongly about the incident inside the church. Other political leaders, such as Naivasha Member of Parliament Jayne Kihara and Starehe MP Amos Mwago, supported Nyutu's statements. They were upset about the disruption of the church service.

The incident raised concerns about political tensions and safety during public events. Security measures were clearly tense, with guards taking quick action to prevent potential violence. The community watched carefully as the situation unfolded.
