At first, they thought a company from Turkey would build it, but that company wasn't good enough for the job. They needed to find someone else.
Thirteen companies said they wanted to help build the hotel. Three are from Rwanda, and ten are from other countries. The people in charge picked seven of the best companies, and they will choose one to build the hotel by July.
The hotel will be very special. It will have more than one hundred rooms. People can swim in the pool, play mini-golf, and exercise in the fitness room. Children will have their playground. The builders think it will take twenty months to finish everything.
The hotel will help many people who live nearby. Local farmers can sell their fruits and vegetables to the hotel. They can grow pineapples and coffee beans to supply the hotel's kitchen. The money the hotel makes will also help poor people in the community.
Many people visit this area because of its special religious places and history. Every month, thousands of people come to pray at Kwa Yezu Nyirimpuhwe. The hotel will give these visitors a nice place to stay. There are other amazing places nearby, like an important hill that was used by soldiers a long time ago and a special rock with an interesting story about a chief named Kamegeri.
