A sports event starts today at Gambia College in Brikama. Students and teachers will play football matches on the school grounds.
The School of Education names this year's games after KMC Mayor Talib Bensouda. The games take place each year.
Sports head Lamin F Sanneh says these matches help students and teachers come together as friends. He thinks the games make them work better as teams.
"Mayor Bensouda shows young people what they can do," Sanneh said. "His name on our games makes students want to play with more heart."
Both men and women will take part in the matches. The first game starts this evening.
