The Personnel Management Office (PMO) recently held an orientation for 46 Gambian scholarship winners. The event took place on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the PMO conference hall in Banjul.

Binta Jabang-Manjang works with Mr. Gaye at PMO. She shared that the 46 scholarship winners come from across the government. 16 of them will study abroad on full scholarships. 8 more will get stipends to help pay for overseas studies.

The students had a chance to ask questions after the presentation. They wanted advice about their programs. Many of them thanked PMO for holding the orientation. They said PMO is doing good work for government employees and the country.
