Gambian teachers, tech experts, and education officials met at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Conference Center to learn about AI classroom uses. Africa Mission Global organized the event with the Basic and Secondary Education Ministry to help teachers grasp AI basics for their lessons. Mrs. Adepeju Dara from AMG said they wanted to address misconceptions and discuss ethics around AI teaching tools. The April 5 gathering reflected growing interest in making education more efficient through artificial intelligence. Facilitators included Dr. Fola Ojuola and Dr. Sesan Akinnawo, with logistical support from Mrs. Olukemi Akinnawo.
