NVIDIA's next graphics card just showed up online! The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti appeared in Furmark test results, showing what this new card can do. Someone ran three different tests on this upcoming hardware. The first test ran at 1080p but with a slow clock speed of just 1238 MHz, scoring 5634 points or 93 frames every second. Another test pushed the card much harder, reaching 2656 MHz clock speeds and scoring 10242 points with 170 frames per second at 1080p. A third test cranked the resolution up to 4K and scored 4411 points or 73 frames per second. The card uses a brand new chip called "GB206" and comes packed with 4,608 CUDA cores, 144 Tensor cores for AI tasks, and 36 RT cores for ray tracing effects. It also features 144 texture mapping units and likely 64 render output units. Memory runs through a 128-bit interface using super-fast GDDR7 technology. You can choose between models with 8GB or 16GB of video memory. The memory probably runs at amazing 28 Gbps speeds, which means it can transfer 448 gigabytes every second. Power-hunger seems reasonable for this level of performance. One test showed the card pulling 180 watts at maximum load. This means custom versions from different manufacturers might need an 8-pin power connector to supply enough electricity. The slot provides 75 watts, and the connector adds another 150 watts, giving plenty of headroom. Based on current rumors, NVIDIA plans to release this graphics card by mid-April. The card should hit a sweet spot between price and performance for many gamers looking to upgrade their systems. The test results give us a pretty clear picture of what this card can handle. At 1080p resolution with proper clock speeds, it delivers very smooth gameplay with those 170 frames per second. Even at demanding 4K resolution, it maintains playable performance above 60 frames per second. These numbers suggest the RTX 5060 Ti will serve as a strong option for gamers who want modern features without spending massive amounts of cash on flagship models. The performance looks especially promising compared to earlier generations. This launch expands NVIDIA's new RTX 5000 series lineup. The company keeps adding more options at different price points. The Ti models typically offer better performance than standard cards but cost less than the next model up. NVIDIA clearly designed this card to attract players who want ray tracing and AI features but have budget limits. The combination of modern architecture and decent memory bandwidth should help this card stay relevant for several years of gaming. These early benchmark results definitely make the RTX 5060 Ti worth watching as its release approaches.
